Abstract


This research aims to evaluate and compare the bandwidth and signal quality between CCSI G657A1 and G657A2 fiber optic cables in the context of the BiznetHome network. Fiber optic cable has become the main choice in BiznetHome's network infrastructure because of its ability to transfer data at high speed and good signal quality. However, the differences between the CCSI G657A1 and G657A2 fiber optic cable types in terms of performance have not been studied directly in the context of the BiznetHome network. Experimental methodology will be used to measure the bandwidth and signal quality of both types of fiber optic cables under the same conditions. We will carry out an initial testing scheme and provide treatment and then re-test to see the results of the treatment we gave to the two cables. The results of this research are expected to provide better insight into the differences between CCSI G657A1 and G657A2 fiber optic cables as well as assist in the installation of fiber optic cables that are suitable for BiznetHome's network needs and for other ISPs that use the same type of cable.
